Tell us a bit about your story and how you started Thinking Cup?
The Social Foundry is a new overarching charity that has been set up to manage our current social enterprises (The Book Reserve and Thinking Cup Café) which were established in December 2014 to employ young (18-24) ex-offenders offering paid employment and training to help re-integrate these young men and women back into their communities and wider society.
Why did you choose AirPOS as your POS?
We needed something that was quick to setup, easy to train new staff and had effective and efficient customer support.
Do you change your menu often to keep things fresh? If so how has AirPOS helped with that?
We change our menus monthly and specials very regularly. Doing this with AirPOS is easy and allows our manager Jane to update things quickly, even when she’s not on site. She can add new menu items, change prices and check sales, all via any web connected device.

Are there any other ways AirPOS helps you?
Many customers comment on AirPOS as it looks good at the point of sale. It suits the look of our modern coffee shop. Processing sales is really easy, too - it’s simple, effective and quick.
We also use data from AirPOS every day. It’s crucial for analyzing sales, checking what’s selling well, re-ordering stock and other important tasks. We use the data to make decisions on product pricing - this helps us reduce costs as well as keeping our customers happy!
AirPOS sales data and transaction tracking also makes it super-easy to do our accounts, saving us time and ensuring accuracy.
